Care Info

Hello, friends! Baubles & Blessings is currently on shipping hiatus. My spouse had multiple strokes in May. I had to move us into a tiny ground floor studio which doesn't yet have a workspace for me. I'm also currently jumping through hoops to become AJ's home care aide after being with them in the hospital and becoming a full time unpaid caregiver since they came home from inpatient rehab in August. Please only order at this time if you are okay with a completely open-ended delivery date. Normal service will resume as soon as possible.

If you'd like to help us come up with the funds to pay for my certification classes and survive until I start getting paychecks, please consider checking out my GoFundMe or supporting my Patreon in the meantime.

Much love and brightest blessings to you all! I look forward to returning, refreshed and inspired, as soon as I am able.

For best results, please follow these care tips to ensure that your new jewelry lasts as long as possible.

– Polish your baubles regularly, especially after contact with sweat. For best results, wipe pieces gently with a soft cloth before and after wear.
– If you wear perfume, body spray, etc… Spray, allow to dry, and then put on your jewelry.
– Avoid wearing your jewelry to bed if possible, and definitely avoid immersing in water or wearing in the bath/shower, especially pieces with  adhesive. If you do accidentally submerge your piece, dry thoroughly before storing.
– Store your jewelry wrapped in tissue paper or a soft cloth.
– Plated/base metal components will eventually tarnish if left alone, and it’s difficult if not impossible to bring these components back to their former glory. Polish with Renaissance wax to keep these components shiny and new looking for much longer! This process can also keep sterling silver and copper beads from becoming tarnished. A small can should last a long time; a little goes a long way!

I am happy to work on repairs/restrings for beaded jewelry, whether or not it’s one of my pieces. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss.

Thanks so much for your support!
