This stunning necklace is made with tiny faceted apatite beads, kyanite, Czech glass, amazonite, pearls, and wee sterling silver spacers. The pendant is hand-carved out of buffalo bone.
This listing is for a made to order copy of the original piece, which will have minor variations from the original because most of the beads are natural materials. It may also take longer for made to order items to ship.
Like everything I make, this piece is made with love and infused with Reiki. It would make a lovely set of unconventional prayer beads.
The approximate length of this piece is 18 1/4", plus an attached 3" extender. The black bust has a neck with a 11 1/4" circumference; the artist's neck, also pictured, is 17 1/2". In the selfie, the full extender is being used.
Remember to leave a little bit of wiggle room for your comfort and the size of the beads. If needed, there are extender chains in the add-on section of my shop. I can also create a custom-sized piece for you in many cases.
The crimp beads, pendant bail, and spacers are sterling silver. All other metal components are hypoallergenic, high quality stainless steel.
Everything is strung on sturdy, flexible, nylon-coated 49-strand stainless steel beading wire.

Apatite, which is associated with the air element, is known for clearing confusion, apathy and negativity, clearing the way for progress in personal goals. It has a cleansing effect on the aura, particularly when it comes to psychic gifts. Fosters clarity, concentration, peace and harmony. It is a stone of manifestation, service to others and humanitarian efforts. Aids in development of psychic gifts, increases motivation and fends off negative energy. Eases symptoms of apathy, anger and sorrow. Apatite is said to help with absorption of calcium, potentially strengthening cartilage, bones and teeth. May aid symptoms of arthritis and other joint issues, as well as hypertension.
Blue apatite is a wonderful stone for dreamwork, past life recall and can also be helpful with creative problem-solving. This gorgeous stone helps to balance the third eye and throat chakras. Fosters creativity and awakening of the inner/higher self. Blue apatite is also said to suppress hunger and calm fears stemming from dental treatment.
Kyanite is useful for chakra work, strengthening psychic abilities and opening oneself to healing energy being sent our way. It is helpful in achieving deep meditation, keeping calm during disagreements, or when working to break bad habits, including addiction. While blue kyanite is known for its connections to the throat and third eye chakras (heart chakra for the green variety), its gentle energy helps bring balance to the entire energetic body. Kyanite is one of the rare stones that is self-cleansing and does not hold onto negative energy absorbed in its travels. Black kyanite is amazing for use in clearing other gemstones.
Pearls symbolize purity, spiritual journey, charity, honesty, wisdom and integrity. They can also heighten our ability to receive spiritual guidance. They are undeniably sensual and feminine.
Silver increases perception and balances emotion. It enhances the moon's energy and can be helpful in energizing other minerals during full and new moons. The color silver is often associated with goddesses, the moon, psychic development, fluidity, insight, reflection and money.
