This lovely necklace features faceted red tourmaline cubes and moonstone beads, sterling silver spacers, and a lampwork goddess focal by Serena Smith Lampwork.
Like everything I make, this piece is made with love and infused with Reiki. It would even make a lovely set of unconventional prayer beads!
The approximate length of this piece as shown is 20 3/4". For size reference, the neck of the bust is about 11 1/2"; the artist's neck is 17 1/2".
The crimp beads, pendant bail, bead caps and spacers are sterling silver. All other metal components are hypoallergenic, high quality stainless steel.
Everything is strung on sturdy, flexible, nylon-coated 49-strand stainless steel beading wire.
Metaphysical Properties
Tourmaline is said to inspire creativity; traditionally, it has been a stone held dear by artists and wordsmiths. It is a stone of balance, compassion and tolerance. Especially helpful for balancing yin and yang energy. Encourages emotional stability.
Silver increases perception and balances emotion. It enhances the moon's energy and can be helpful in energizing other minerals during full and new moons. The color silver is often associated with goddess(es), the moon, psychic development, fluidity, insight, reflection and money.
